Alpina hotel has a strong commitment in conserving the environment. The building is constructed responsibly using recycling practices. We have maximized natural light and ventilation wherever we can. Water use is reduced and waste recycling is practiced. Modern VRV air conditioning units are designed for optimizing energy use throughout the building and minimize wastage. Eco-friendly soaps and personal care products are used in all bathrooms. We use CFL lighting systems reflecting creative design elements and taking into account energy efficiency making us 30% more energy efficient than other hotels.

Other eco-friendly features at Alpina include:

• Drinking water served in glass water bottles. Minimal use of non-recyclable plastic.
• Use more organic produce, seasonal vegetables and local produce
• Our efficient toilets are designed with a dual-option water tank. The small button releases 3 liters of water, while the larger button releases 6 liters
• feature resourceful temperature regulation that allows for 25% energy savings without sacrificing guest comfort

We would like to enlist the help of our guests in achieving our aims by requesting them to:

• Switch off the lights and T.V when leaving the room
• Turn off water taps
• Towel and Linen Policy—sheets will be changed on every second day for a long stay. Guests are asked to place all towels to be changed into the bath
